Transferring the Microsoft Authenticator app to a new phone is a relatively straightforward process. The Microsoft Authenticator app stores your two-factor authentication (2FA) codes, so you'll want to move them to your new device. Here's a step-by-step guide:

1. **Install the Microsoft Authenticator App on Your New Phone**:
   - On your new phone, go to your app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS).
   - Search for "Microsoft Authenticator" and install the app.

2. **On Your Old Phone**:
   - Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your old phone.

3. **Add Your Accounts to the New Phone**:
   - In the Microsoft Authenticator app on your old phone, you should see a list of accounts you've added for 2FA. These are typically in the form of one-time codes or QR codes.
   - For each account in the list:
     - Select the account you want to transfer.
     - Look for an option like "Transfer to another device" or "Export account keys." The wording may vary depending on your version of the app.
     - You will often be presented with a QR code to scan with your new phone.

4. **On Your New Phone**:
   - Open the Microsoft Authenticator app.
   - Tap the "+" button to add a new account.
   - Select "Scan a QR code" or use the method indicated in the previous step.
   - Scan the QR code displayed on your old phone.

5. **Verify the Transfer**:
   - You might be required to enter a verification code generated by the old phone to confirm the transfer.

6. **Repeat for Each Account**:
   - Repeat steps 3 to 5 for each account you want to transfer.

7. **Test Authentication**:
   - After adding all your accounts to the Microsoft Authenticator app on the new phone, test the authentication process for each account to ensure they are working correctly.

8. **Backup Your New Phone**:
   - To avoid the need for transferring accounts again in the future, make sure to regularly back up your new phone's data, including the Microsoft Authenticator app data.

By following these steps, you should be able to transfer your 2FA accounts from the Microsoft Authenticator app on your old phone to your new phone. If you encounter any issues or if the app's interface has changed, consult the official documentation for the Microsoft Authenticator app or reach out to Microsoft support for assistance.
