If you ever receive an email requesting you to verify your account, or requesting account information, even if it is from a staff or faculty member on campus, this is a phishing attempt. Faculty or staff will never need your account information to verify your account. Do NOT interact with those emails other than delete them.

 

If you do click on the link and supply information, please change your password immediately.

 

Notify the IT Department if you have supplied information so they may monitor your account for any irregular activities. You can notify IT by submitting a ticket here, https://it.catawba.edu/new/
