Here is a step by step guide on how to show PowerPoints wirelessly through Mersive Solstice on a Windows laptop.

Microsoft has changed the way slide shows are processed on Windows, so there are some extra steps involved compared to a MacBook.

1. Verify you are connected to the Catawba Network

2. Open the Google Chrome Browser and go to share.mersive.com

3. Connect to the Solstice Display by typing the I.P. Address on the top right of the board, ex: 10.200.51.61

4. Enter the Screen Key shown on the Solstice Display

5. Enter your name as you want it to appear when sharing content, then Click Connect

6. Open up your PowerPoint presentation, and if you wish to use Presenter View, ensure the box is checked.

7. Start the slide show by clicking From Beginning or From Current Slide

8. Press Alt + Tab on your keyboard to show your different open windows without exiting the slide show, then click on the Chrome window with the Mersive Web app open.

9. In Mersive, click Share then Window, then select the window with the slide show open and click share.

10. To use presenter view, click the 3 dots in the bottom left of the slide show and click Show Presenter View

11.  When you are done sharing, end the sharing session and disconnect from the Solstice display in one of the following ways:

  • Closing the Slide Show window will automatically disconnect you.

  • Click Disconnect in the browser window that shows the reduced version of the content being shared.

  • Click Stop Sharing in the bar that appears at the bottom of the screen (Window or Entire Screen sharing).

  • To end a Browser Tab share, click Stop Sharing in the bar that appears at the top of the sharing preview tab. Or simply close the shared browser tab.
