Moderating Mersive Solstice Meetings: Professor Led Meetings

Mersive Solstice allows multiple devices to stream audio and video to a projector or display device. When done properly, this allows professors to seamlessly display information shared by students without having to disconnect their device.

 

First, open the Mersive Solstice desktop app. If you do not have the app installed, use the link below for instructions on how to get started.

Mersive Solstice does not allow you to moderate meetings using the web app.

 

Before you begin sharing, be sure to turn on the the "Moderate Meeting" setting (this will be off by default). This will allow you to control when different devices can show video.

 

 

Document the IP address shown on the projector screen so that students are able to connect. Once you share your screen or a window the welcome screen will disappear.

 

Students should now be able to connect to wirelessly to the Mersive pod, without the need to install the Mersive Solstice desktop app. Use the link below to visit our KB article on how to connect wirelessly using the web app. There are also instructions there on how to find the IP address of the Mersive pod.
