How to disable 802.1X on Macbook

This guide will explain how to disable the 802.1X setting on a Macbooks (for faculty and staff)

 

 

Open System settings and go to Network

 

Click on USB 10/100/1000 LAN

 

Click on the Details... button

 

Go to 802.1X and disable Enable automatic connection (when you turn off that slider and hit OK it will ask for you computer password. Enter that and press Unlock.

 

Restart your Macbook
