Session Timeout Error in Banner Self-Service

A user may experience a timeout error when accessing Banner Self-Service (student schedules, financial aid, timesheets, leave reports, etc.).

Here are the steps to resolve the error:

  1. Clear the browser cache (history) before logging into my.catawba.edu
    1. Clearing the cache for ‘all time’ or the maximum number of days is recommended.
  2. Log into my.catawba.edu
  3. Click the menu link from the left navigation panel that you would like to access.

  1. If you see the timeout error message below, click OK.

  1. If you see this message, close the tab.

  1. Click the menu link from the left navigation panel again.
  2. Sign in with your Catawba username and password.
