Password Guidelines

The following criteria must be met when changing and resetting your password:

• Passwords are to be a minimum of 8 characters and must include the following conditions
  • Uppercase letter
  • Lowercase letter
  • Number
  • No special characters (!, ?, #, $, etc.)
• Previously used passwords on the account cannot be re-used, even if they meet the complexity guidelines

Default Password

If you are logging into your account for the first time, or reclaiming your account after being locked out, you will be required to enter your default password.  The default password for your Catawba College account is your student or employee ID entered in the following format. 

C##-##-####

For example, if your ID is C12345678 please enter your password as C12-34-5678
